Hi, we're glowkaki. We're a little obsessed with beauty.
We're the friends who notice your new lash set from across the room, who have strong opinions about almond versus square nails, and who will happily spend a Sunday trying three shades of the same nude. So yes, this site was made with a lot of love.
How it started
Every time someone asked, "Where did you get your lashes done?", the answer was usually the same: "Oh, this lovely lady who works from home." Some of the best artists in Singapore aren't in malls. They're in HDB flats and condos all over the island, quietly doing beautiful work.
But finding them was hard. It meant scrolling Instagram at 1am, messaging five accounts, and still not knowing the price, the nearest MRT or whether they were even taking new clients.
So we made the guide we wished existed. One place to find trusted home-based beauty artisans near you, see what they offer and what it costs, and message them directly.
Wait, what's a kaki?
In Singapore, a kaki is your buddy. Your makan kaki, your shopping kaki, the friend you call when you need a second opinion. So a glowkaki is your glow-up buddy: someone who knows a good artist and is always happy to share.
